Ingredients

Nutty Homemade Granola

  • 125g butter
  • 125g Huletts brown sugar
  • ¼ cup Huletts golden syrup
  • 200g rolled oats
  • 100g bran
  • 50g pumpkin seeds
  • 50g sunflower seeds
  • 50g flaked almonds
  • 50g cashews
  • 50g pecan nuts

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Melt together butter, sugar and golden syrup
  3. Combine oats, bran, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, cashews and pecans then add wet ingredients and mix well to combine.
  4. Scatter mixture onto a baking tray then bake for 20 minutes, stirring and tossing mixture well after 10 minutes.
  5. Leave to cool completely before transferring into jars.
  6. Serve with plain yoghurt and seasonal fresh fruit.
