Huletts white refined and milled sugars are suitable for a variety of applications. Huletts Speciality Brown Sugars
The Huletts brown speciality sugars are raw, coated and milled sugars ranging in colour and taste profiles. These raw sugars are used primarily in the confectionery, baking and canning industries.
The range comprises of Huletts SunSweet Light Brown Sugar, Huletts SunSweet Dark Brown Sugar, Huletts Caramel Brown Sugar and Huletts Treacle (Soft) Brown Sugar.
Huletts SunSweet Light Brown Sugar
This raw sugar is used primarily in the confectionery, baking and canning industries.

Huletts SunSweet Dark Brown Sugar

Huletts Caramel Brown Sugar (H30)
A raw sugar coated with a caramel colourant. It is used mainly as a coffee sweetener, but is also used for baking purposes and as a general sweetener.

Huletts Treacle (Soft) Brown Sugar (H12)
A raw sugar coated with molasses. This sugar is widely used in baking (fruit cakes and breads, gingerbread, muffins, cakes, mince pies), confectionery (cereal bars), chutneys, sauces, pickles and meat marinades.

Dissolved refined sugar
A sucrose syrup used in the manufacture of carbonated soft drinks, confectionery and alcoholic beverages. Liquid sugar can be used in any application where granulated sugar is dissolved.

Huletts Caramel
Sugar-based colourant.
Huletts has a wide range of liquid caramel sugars, each offering distinctive colour profiles that contribute directly to the nature of the finished product. Huletts caramels are commonly used in the food, beverage, spirit, vinegar and confectionery industries.
Huletts Caramel WBS
A pressure-cooked caramel with a low viscosity and medium colour intensity. Used primarily in the cider, wine, soft drink and spirit industries.

Huletts Caramel Spirit B
A pressure-cooked caramel with a low viscosity and low colour intensity. Most commonly used by brandy and other spirit manufacturers as a stable colour agent.

Huletts Treacle Sugar
Viscous, dark syrups, produced as end-products of the milling and refining processes.
Full of flavour and high in colour, Huletts treacles are widely acknowledged in the food, baking and confectionery industries as cost-effective and technically sound flavouring and colouring agents. Products can be tailored to meet specific purposes.
Huletts Treacle No. 1
A blend of inverted, low purity refinery syrups. Used in a wide range of products including liquorice confectionery, dark toffees and caramels, Christmas cakes, puddings and mince pies. This soothing sweetness is also used in cough syrups!

Huletts Low Kilojoule Sweeteners
The Catering range also includes Huletts EquiSweet low kilojoule non-nutrititive sweetener products in tube sachet formats.
Huletts EquiSweet Classic and EquiSweet Sucralose (an Aspartame -free alternative), are blends manufactured by Tongaat Hulett Sugar South Africa Ltd.
1 sachet of Huletts EquiSweet Classic or EquiSweet Sucralose is equivalent in sweetness to 2 teaspoons of sugar, yet contains only 16 kJ, compared to 2 teaspoons of standard sugar (10g) which contains 170 kJ.
Our Sweetener sachets carry the Halaal, Kosher and Hindu religious accreditations.
