HULETTS SUPERBLY SLURPABLE SYRUP – COMPETITION NOTICE DIGITAL PROMOTION

  1. The promoter of this competition is Tongaat Hulett Sugar South Africa Ltd (Huletts).
  2. This competition starts on 25 July and ends on the 31 August. No late entries will be accepted.
  3. The competition is open to all South African residents who are 18 years and older.
  4. No director, employee, agent or consultant of Tongaat Hulett Sugar South Africa Ltd, or their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members, or the supplier of goods and services in connection with this competition may participate in this competition.
  5. How to enter The Huletts Superbly Slurpable Competition:
    1. To enter, participants will be required to:
      1. Upload a video of you and your family or friends reciting one of our tongue twisters and post it to the Huletts Facebook page, tag @HulettsSA and use the hashtag #HulettsSyrups , OR
      2. Post a video of you and your family or friends reciting one of our tongue twisters Instagram page, tag @Huletts_SA and use the hashtag #HulettsSyrups
    2. Prize details as follows:
      1. 12 x Syrup Hampers to the value of R1500 each, including
        1. Maple Syrup & Golden Syrup 
        2. 1x Waffle Machine
        3. 1x Crepe pan
        4. Huletts Apron
        5. Assortment of toppings for your perfect treat
  6. Winners will be selected via a random draw and contacted on the platform of entry. We shall endeavour to contact winners by the 9th of September 2022.
  7. Winners need to respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. Failure to do so will result in another winner being selected. 
  8. Participants may enter as many times as they wish provided that each entry is unique. A participant can only win once.
  9. Any prize not taken up for any reason within 1 month of notification will be forfeited.
  10. The prize includes delivery. Winners will be required to provide the promoter with a valid day time delivery address to enable delivery. Foneworx (Pty) Ltd will contact the winners on behalf of Huletts to arrange the delivery. 
  11. By entering this competition (by submission of a response or otherwise), each entrant acknowledges that he/she has read and understood the terms and conditions applicable to this competition (which can be found here: https://bluecrystalsukiri.co.bw/competition-rules/) and agrees to be bound thereby. In particular, the entrant is reminded that all tips and other responses submitted in this competition become the property of Tongaat Hulett Sugar upon submission, and may be used by Tongaat Hulett Sugar in advertising and/or promotional media (or for any other purpose).
  12. Huletts uses Foneworx (Pty) Ltd to collect and store all data received from your entry into this competition. Foneworx (Pty) Ltd will store your data for a period of 5 years after this competition ends and are bound to do so strictly in accordance with all legal requirements.
  13. Participants who entered any Huletts Sugar Facebook competition and have won any prizes in the last 3 (three) months, from the last day of the competition, will not be eligible to win again and will be disqualified from the competition.
  14. The promoter is not liable for the failure of any technical element relating to this promotional competition that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
  15. Entries which are unclear, illegible or contain errors will be declared invalid.
  16. In the event that the winner / winners cannot be successfully contacted following all reasonable attempts to do so, the promoter reserves the right to select another winner in substitution. The name of the prize winners will be published on the Huletts Facebook page.
  17. Any prize not taken up for any reason within one month of the close of the competition will be forfeited.

Personal Information provided by you by entering this competition will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (Act No. 4 of 2013) read together with the Tongaat Hulett Privacy Notice (https://bluecrystalsukiri.co.bw/privacy-notice/) By entering the competition you consent to your personal information being shared with the Tongaat Hulett employees, contractors or agents for the purpose of this competition and for the purpose of sharing future promotional competitions.
  21. The judges’ decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
